Ronald Alfred Brierley, the former business tycoon leaves the Downing Centre Court precinct on Thursday.
The 83 year-old multi-millionaire was facing multiple charges alleging the possession of child abuse material. He was arrested at Sydney Airport in December 2019 whilst trying to board a flight to Fiji leading to the former corporate raider having a number of electronic devices seized. Reports confirm over 200,000 images and 500 videos depicting child abuse were found.
Brierley has been on strict bail conditions since the arrest whilst remaining in his luxurious harbour side Point Piper bolthole with sweeping harbour views.
