USA TV series La Brea filmed today in Port Melbourne along Bay st.
TV extras were seen running up and down the street all day filming cut aways for the TV series.
There was a smoke machine and Californian number plates and cars parked on the wrong side of the road including film and television equipment.
Later in the day the scene was changed and actors Jack Martin (who plays Josh Harris) and Natalie Zea (who plays Claire Harris) stepped onto set.
The actors filed a scene in a car surrounded by green screens, apparently a sink hole opens up and traps them as they try to escape.
