Caves House Yallingup, Western Australia (Thursday, March 22, 2013) Harrison Buckland-Crook (AUS) actor (Young Gus),Morgan O'Neill (USA) co-director, Ben Nott (AUS) co-director, Xavier Samuel (AUS) actor, Myles Pollard (AUS) actor and producer, Aaron Glenane (AUS) actor Gus. .Over 60 metres of red carpet greeted the 1300 guests at the Australian premiere of the surfing movie, Drift, which was shot in Margaret River region and screened under the stars at Caves House, Yallingup last night...The movie's major celebrity Sam Worthington was absent from the opening but other big names including Xavier Samuel, fresh from his turn in the Twilight saga, and former McLeod's Daughters actor Myles Pollard enjoyed the red carpet attention...The premiere will took the film back to its roots in WA's rugged and beautiful South-west region, with a large outdoor screening for over 1,300 people held in the historic gardens at Caves House in Yallingup. .Drift - A story of passion, corruption, friendship and loyalty, deadly addictions and fractured relationships, tells a tale of courage and the will to survive at all odds...The Australian premiere of Drift was a proud moment for two of the film's West Australian producers, Tim Duffy and Myles Pollard...Myles, who also plays a leading character in the film, was excited to premiere the film to the local community..."We are ecstatic that the Australian premiere of Drift is happening in the South-west.
