WORLD RIGHTS

English actor Bill Nighy is pictured filming "Pride" on location in central London, England.

The films large ensemble cast is led by Nighy and Imelda Staunton (Vera Drake), with other roles played by a host of well-known British actors including Dominic West, Paddy Considine and Joseph Gilgun.

The screenplay, based on a remarkable true story from the summer of 1984, was penned by Stephen Beresford, whose debut stage play, The Last of the Haussmans (starring Julie Walters), was a critical and commercial hit at the National Theatre in 2012.

"Pride" will be out in 2014.
