A dead Whale calf carcass which floated from Avalon Beach where it had been caught and drowned in the shark net, lost and sunk and then floated up with gases in its intestines and then floated down the coast, to Long Reef has ended its journey at North Narrabeen. Attacked by Tiger Sharks, Great whites, Cookie Cutter Sharks and Leopard Seals along the way the Whale Calf eventually blew up from the large amount of gases and deposited all sorts of intestinal and vertabrae on the beach from South Narrabeen to the famous surf break at North Narrabeen.
